Installation Instructions:

To ensure optimal performance, follow these installation steps:

1. Thoroughly flush the service line upstream of the meter to remove any debris or contaminants.

2. Remove the meter spud thread protectors, but keep them for storage if necessary.

3. Install the meter in a horizontal position, with the register upright and accessible for reading, servicing, and inspection. Flow direction is indicated by arrows on the meter.

4. Maintain the tap height higher than the meter for accurate measurements.

5. Avoid over-tightening connections; tighten only as needed for a proper seal. Do not use pipe sealant tape on meter threads.

6. If you have an upstream shut-off valve only, open it slowly to remove air from the meter and service line. Open a faucet gradually to release any entrapped air, then close the faucet.

7. With both upstream and downstream shut-off valves installed, follow the same procedure to ensure accurate meter filling and air release. Test the installation for any potential leaks and address them accordingly.
