Model WD Water Detector and Sensor Tape

Description: The Model WD Water Detector is a compact and discreet device designed for reliable detection of low levels of conductive liquids. Encased in a sturdy aluminum enclosure, this module operates on either 24 VAC or 24 to 30 VDC power sources. The water sensing tape, which attaches to the module, triggers an alarm upon contact with any liquid, as it changes resistance. The hydrophobic nature of the tape prevents absorption of the detected liquid, facilitating faster drying and quicker return to service after a water leak.

The sensing tape is 1˝ wide and available in lengths of 5, 10, 15, and 25 feet. Multiple tapes can be connected to extend coverage, making it suitable for both domestic and commercial applications. Common uses include monitoring computer rooms, telecommunication facilities, HVAC equipment drip pans, and water pump areas.
