Description: The Series CDTV Carbon Dioxide/Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Transmitter is designed to optimize energy efficiency in buildings by adjusting conditioned air based on space occupancy. Featuring combination VOC and CO2 outputs, this transmitter offers significant cost savings by streamlining labor and material requirements. Equipped with a single-beam dual-wavelength NDIR CO2 sensor, the unit is suitable for continuous operation in spaces occupied 24 hours a day. VOC output is correlated to CO2 measurements, enabling the detection of fumes that may require ventilation during periods of lower occupancy. Utilizing ASHRE’s occupancy-based VRP Algorithm, the CDTV facilitates demand control ventilation, odor control, and efficient HVAC operation in hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, and spaces with extended occupancy.
