Restrictions:

Please note that these meters are not suitable for measuring potable water or for use in systems that operate on water-glycol mixtures.

How They Work:

UH50 meters rely on the ultrasonic measuring principle, eliminating the need for moving parts. They calculate the quantity of energy consumed based on the temperature differential of flow and return, as well as the volume flow rate. The flow of water is measured by ultrasonic pulses transmitted in both the flow and return directions. The resulting volume and temperature data are used to determine the heating or cooling energy consumed, which is displayed in physical units such as kWh/MWh or MJ/GJ.

Each meter includes a versatile processor unit that applies to all flow variables, enhancing adaptability.

Optical Communication:

With an optical communication interface, these meters facilitate easy on-site readout and configuration using optical read heads and UltraAssist software.
