EJV 24-PT - Adjusting Frostguard Thermostat
Description: The EJV 24-PT serves as a safety mechanism for water radiators within ventilating units, safeguarding them against freezing. It actively monitors the radiator return water temperature and takes necessary actions to prevent freezing. Equipped with a TEV PT1000 sensor, it detects temperature variations and transmits signals to the control system. When the temperature nears the alarm set point, the device adjusts the signal to the actuator, indicated by a green light. In the event of the temperature dropping below the set point, the EJV 24-PT halts the ventilating unit and triggers an alarm, indicated by a red light. The alarm can be reset either by pressing the reset button or by cutting off the supply voltage.
When the ventilating unit is not operational, the EJV 24-PT regulates the return water temperature to match the Off-time temperature set point. In case of a sensor fault, an alarm is triggered, and the EJV 24-PT opens the actuator completely. Interruption of the EJV 24-PT supply voltage stops the ventilating unit, but the alarm remains inactive.
