Carbon Dioxide Transmitter/Controller with Occupancy Detection (HDH-M-PIR)

Application: The HDH-M-PIR transmitters are versatile devices designed for detecting and controlling carbon dioxide concentration, temperature, humidity, and occupancy in room spaces. These transmitters provide valuable information for demand-based ventilation control systems, optimizing indoor air quality and energy efficiency.

Features:

  • Occupancy Detection: In addition to monitoring carbon dioxide levels, temperature, and humidity, the transmitter includes occupancy detection functionality. This feature enhances the control system's ability to adjust ventilation based on occupancy patterns, further optimizing energy usage and comfort.
  • Modbus RTU Compatibility: The transmitter can be seamlessly integrated into any system supporting Modbus RTU protocol via RS-485 connection. The ML-SER tool is utilized during commissioning to configure Modbus settings, ensuring seamless communication with the system.
  • ABCLogic™ Self-Calibration: Utilizes the ABCLogic™ self-calibration method to eliminate long-term drift in measurements, enhancing accuracy and reliability. The ABCLogic™ function can be enabled or disabled as needed using the ML-SER tool.
  • Flexible Control Output: Offers flexible control output options, allowing adjustment based on individual measurement values or the maximum selection of all values. Controller settings can be customized using the ML-SER tool. The control output can also be set to a static value during commissioning for specific requirements.
  • Optional Equipment: The transmitter can be equipped with additional options, including carbon dioxide level indicator lights (HD-AL3), active 0…10 V potentiometer (HD-PU), and relay (HD-R), providing further customization and functionality.
