How It Works:

At the switch-off temperature, the RAK-TB Series thermostats activate the contacts (11-12 opens, while alarm 11-13 closes), locking the thermostat in this position. After cooling down by the switching differential, the thermostat can be manually unlocked by opening the removed protective cover.

The control current circuit opens if the probe's temperature drops below approximately -20°C and automatically closes when the temperature rises, enhancing safety and efficiency.

Mechanical Design:

The base of these thermostats is made of reinforced PC plastic, designed for pipe, pocket, or wall mounting. The capillary-type sensing element ensures precise temperature control. The cover, also made of PC, features a viewing window for easy monitoring. The cable gland is M16 x 1.5 mm, and the PC plastic offers properties like flame resistance, UV protection, weatherproofing, aging resistance, and resilience against various environmental factors.
