Model FS-2 Paddle Flow Switch

Description: The Model FS-2 Paddle Flow Switch offers an economical solution for flow proving applications. Featuring custom set points tailored to specific requirements, this switch allows for field-adjustable vane layers and a set point adjustment screw. Housed in a durable aluminum weatherproof casing, the FS-2 is designed for outdoor installation. Its adjustable paddles accommodate pipe sizes ranging from 1˝ to 8˝, making it ideal for "flow or no flow" applications in both cold and hot water systems.

Installation:

  1. Unpack and remove any packing material from the lower housing.
  2. Install in piping with the arrow pointing in the direction of flow.
  3. Ensure vertical installation on horizontal pipe runs.
  4. Maintain a safe distance from turbulence sources such as elbows, valves, and pumps.
  5. Recommended minimum distance upstream and downstream is about 5 times the pipe's diameter.
