Description: The Cable Temperature Sensors QAP are designed for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) plants to accurately acquire temperature data. They are compatible with various accessories for different applications, including strap-on sensors for pipework and solar collectors, immersion sensors, and changeover sensors for transitioning between heating and cooling modes.
Key Functions:
- Temperature Sensing: The sensor acquires temperature through its sensing element, with the resistance of the element changing in response to ambient temperature fluctuations.
- Compatibility: Designed to work with suitable controllers for further handling of temperature data.
- Mechanical Design: Consists of a sleeve (40.5 mm in length), sensing element, and 2-core connecting cable. The sensing element is encapsulated within the sleeve for mechanical and electrical protection, with the sleeve also providing strain relief for the cable. Ferrules at the cable end facilitate easy connection.
- Accessories: Various accessories are available for fixing the sensor in different applications.
