Water Pressure Transmitter VPL 16

Application: The VPL 16 water pressure transmitter is specifically designed for detecting pressures in HVAC automation systems. It is suitable for measuring water, water/glycol mixtures, air, and oils in various industrial and commercial applications where precise pressure monitoring is essential.

Features:

  • Ceramic Sensor Element: Utilizes a ceramic sensor element for accurate and reliable pressure measurement.
  • Medium Compatibility: Compatible with water, water/glycol mixtures, air, and oils, expanding its applicability across different systems.
  • Output Proportional to Pressure: Provides an output that is directly proportional to the pressure inside the pipeline, ensuring easy interpretation and integration with control systems.
  • Material: Wetted parts are made of stainless steel (AISI 303) for corrosion resistance, while the housing for electrical connections is constructed from heat-resistant plastics.
  • Condensation Prevention: When connected to cold/chilled water circuits, precautions must be taken to prevent condensation on the sensor. Installation away from cold pipes can mitigate this issue.
  • Selectable Measuring Range: The measuring range can be chosen during commissioning, offering flexibility to adapt to specific application requirements.
  • Optional Display: A cover with display can be added later, with the socket for the display pre-installed on the card.
  • Overpressure Protection: Installation against fluid and closed valves can lead to overpressure, potentially damaging the device.
  • Indicator Light: A red indicator light alerts users to device defects, indicating the need for replacement.
